Pacific Sheet Metal Company (PSMR) has been installing EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer) on commercial buildings in Washington for 25 years. Over decades, the ERA or EPDM Roofing Association has tested the longevity and resilience of EPDM roofing material. In the 2010 Supplement, ERA reported that EPDM roofing as old as 32 years exceeded or was just below new material standards in areas of tensile strength and elongation1.
